for proper Video playback
Since May 2013 I started to use HTML5 for my webpages.
This allows to play videos directly with the browser.
All recently uploaded videos use this function. But only newer versions of browsers support video tags:
If you get a message that your Browser does not support HTML5 you will have to update your Browser to the latest version.
User blocks report that IE ver. 9 still seems to have problems with HTML5 and video tags if the website is programmed with "MS Frontpage", .
Firefox is working fairly well. But HD videos may stutter if the PC processor is not fast enough.

Software
to play back the Videos and Podcasts
The
Videos are produced and compressed as .wmv and/or .mp4 files. For their playback
many free players ( s.a. Quicktime, Real- or Windows Media Player) may be
downloaded via Internet. The most common links can be picked-up from my “Link
section” (botton on main page).
It
may be necessary to change the size of your player for the most comfortable
video viewing (typically using a right mouse click in the main window of the
player).
Internet
Security
Dependent
on your Internet Security program or personal firewall level it may be possible
to allow loading the video data by unlocking blocking mechanisms (typically
indicated by a pop-up information line or window).
Player opens without video playback
Give time to load the data dependent on your PC hardware. Some players display the loading status.

Juttering
(Ruckeln)
Screen
size as well as the video/audio quality was reduced to achieve smoother viewing.
If the video starts to jutter, let it run through the first time so that
all the data will be cached on your system.
Then you should be able to view the sequences smoothly.
